Sacramental Preparation for First Reconciliation and First Holy Communion here at St. John’s takes place for children within our Faith Formation Program traditionally in the 2nd Grade. Parents and our Faith Formation Teachers work with the children every other Sunday to prepare them to receive their First Reconciliation (typically held in December) and First Holy Communion (typically held in April). Both parents and children have found this special approach to Sacramental Prep to be the most rewarding time, as it allows an opportunity for growth and bonding for parents and their children in faith and knowledge of the Sacraments together.
