Sacramental Preparation for First Reconciliation and First Holy Communion here at St. John’s is a two-year commitment. Parents and our Faith Formation Teachers work with the 1st Grade children every Sunday to prepare them to receive their First Reconciliation and continues with our 2nd Grade children in preparing them for their First Holy Communion (typically held in April). Both parents and children have found this special approach to Sacramental Prep to be the most rewarding time, as it allows an opportunity for growth and bonding for parents and their children in faith and knowledge of the Sacraments together.
